The newest addition to the Madame Tussauds family is the Washington D.C. attraction, which opened its doors on the corner of F and 10 th Streets, NW in October 2007 to host a slew of exciting new experiences. Madame Tussauds Washington DC is housed in the historic Woodies Building in the heart of our nation’s capital. The fully interactive attraction features exhibits such as “Behind the Scenes,” where visitors are able to learn about the trade secrets used to create Madame Tussauds’ wax figures.

The D.C. attraction pays homage to some of the most influential and important political figures in U.S.history from Presidents to activists and assassins to First Ladies. Madame Tussauds Washington DC also features Madame Tussauds’ signature celebrity style with its “Glamor” area that allows guests to rub elbows with Hollywood’s A-list, and a sports exhibit where visitors can get “physical” with their favorite athletic idols.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within at the time of booking hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for NO SHOWS. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Recommended for all tours in Washington DC: Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses.

Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions.
