DC Ducks is the newest, most exciting way to see Washington. Climb aboard an authentic, fully restored 1942 "Duck" and let the adventure begin! From Union Station we'll waddle down to the mall where you'll see the awe inspiring monuments and fabulous Smithsonian Museums. Then at the Potomac River you'll splash down for a whole different look at the nation's capital. From the land to the water, it's ALL IN THE SAME VEHICLE!
Our wise quacking captains will entertain you with anecdotes, well researched historical facts and the corniest jokes you've ever heard! Ducks depart hourly from Union Station. The 90 minute, fully narrated tour covers the mall, museums, monuments and splashing down in the Potomac. Guests will enjoy a scenic river cruise, wind up at Gravely Point, underneath the flight path of the landing planes at National Airport.


The Stables at Glen Echo Park features Discovery Creek's eco-immersion exhibitions, hiking trails to Minnehaha Creek, and a beautiful Children's Garden complete with an underground tunnel, aquatic habitats, giant sandpit, and a tree house. Drop-in visitors will be able to tour the Forest Tales exhibit, come face to face with live animals, go on guided nature hikes, participate in educator lead activities, crafts, and more!

Dumbarton House's collection of furniture, paintings, textiles, silver, and ceramics, consists primarily, but not exclusively, of objects dating from the Federal period of U.S. history (approximately 1790-1830). There are a few pieces from the earlier Chippendale period, such as a large English Chippendale linen press that belonged to the Lewis-Washington family, as well as a few examples of Louis XVI French furniture, reflecting the late 18th and early 19th century taste in American. However, the works of American cabinetmakers from the New England states to South Carolina, comprise the major portion of the Dumbarton House furniture collection.

Spy Museum Washington DC 

The International Spy Museum is the first and only public museum in the United States solely dedicated to espionage and the only one in the world to provide a global perspective on this all-but-invisible profession. It features the largest collection of international spy-related artifacts ever placed on public display. The stories of individual spies, told through film, interactives, and state-of-the-art exhibits, provide a dynamic context to foster an understanding of espionage and its impact on current and historic events. Madame Tussauds Washington D.C. opened its doors on the corner of F and 10th Streets, NW in October 2007 to host a slew of exciting new experiences. Madame Tussauds Washington DC is housed in the historic Woodies Building in the heart of the nation's capital.

Stephen Decatur House
Decatur House is one of the oldest surviving homes in Washington, DC, and one of only three remaining residential buildings in the country designed by Benjamin Henry Latrobe, the father of American architecture.

The Phillips Collection | Modern Art Museum
The Phillips Collection, America's first museum of modern art, opened in 1921 in the home of Duncan Phillips (1886 - 1966). The collection includes Renoir's great masterpiece Luncheon of the Boating Party, along with other outstanding Impressionist paintings by van Gogh, Monet, Degas and Czanne. The comfortable galleries are a perfect setting for Vuillard's intimate canvases; color-filled Bonnards; and works by Braque, Picasso, Matisse, and Klee. The Newseum a 250,000-square-foot museum of news offers visitors an experience that blends five centuries of news history with up-to-the-second technology and hands-on exhibits. The Newseum is located at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Sixth Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., on America's Main Street between the White House and the U.S. Capitol and adjacent to the Smithsonian museums on the National Mall. The exterior's unique architectural features include a 74-foot-high marble engraving of the First Amendment and an immense front wall of glass through which passers-by can watch the museum fulfilling its mission of providing a forum where the media and the public can gain a better understanding of each other.

Woodrow Wilson House
The Woodrow Wilson House is a national historic landmark and house museum that focuses on President Woodrow Wilson's "Washington Years (1912-1924)". The museum promotes a greater awareness of Wilson's public life and ideals for future generations through guided tours, exhibitions and educational programs. The museum also serves as a community preservation model and resource, dedicated to the stewardship and presentation of an authentic collection and property.
