Taste of DC 1 Hour Segway Sightseeing Tour

The Taste of DC Safari is great for those short on time and looking to do something exhilarating or those seeking to view the Capitol up close and personal. This Safari takes a little over one hour and is conveniently scheduled around the lunch hour and after work to enable participation by local employees.

IMPORTANT:

• Riders must be 16 yearsor older and must weight 100 - 260lbs.
• Riders under 18 years must be accompanied by a participating adult.
• Not recommended for pregnant women or for anyone over the age of 70.

Taste of DC 1 Hour Segway Sightseeing Tour

The Segways are self balancing, and move just like we do - lean forward to go forward, lean back to go back and stand still to stop. They are fully battery powered, quiet and used primarily on the sidewalks.

 

Training is included with your Safari tours - riders can usually operate the Segway with ease within 10 minutes. Did we mention it's lots of Fun!

Washington DC: 1 Hour Taste of DC Segway Tour
March 15 - November 29: Daily at 5:00pm

Departure Location:

• Segway Office at 1100 Pensylvania Ave NW, Washington DC 2004. It is located between 10th and 12th Streets, 5 Blocks from the White House. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the tour time.

Important:

• Riders must be 16 years of age or older. Riders under 18 years must be accompanied by a participating adult. All customers are required to sign a waiver and wear a supplied helmet.

• As your safety is our priority, initial rider training and orientation is completed in a private training plaza with our instructors who will teach fundamental handling and safety. Participants will be given the opportunity to practice on the Segways until everyone feels comfortable.

• This activity is not recommended for pregnant women or for anyone over the age of 70.

• No High Heels or Open- toed Shoes

 

Payment:

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 48 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
